Terms & Conditions

By checking the box, you are indicating your acceptance of this Agreement. You are confirming that you have read and understood and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

 

Order placement:

  1. We require full payment in advance as confirmation of your order. Discussing and agreeing on an order (cake design) does not constitute a legally binding agreement to make your cake and deliver it.

  2. Your order will not be deemed accepted until full payment is made and has been received by us.

 

Prices:

  1. All prices are subject to change at anytime but will not affect those orders that have been fully paid for.

  2. We have the right to remove or add products to our site at any time. Once an order/product is fully paid for it will be made even if the product is removed off the site, but customer will be able to place future orders for such product.

  3. Our online products include 0% VAT but do not include delivery charges.

  4. Delivery charges are listed at checkout.

  5. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you an invoice, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an incorrect pricing.

 

Online booking/orders:

An online order – cakes which are ordered off our website to look exactly as the picture online allowing minor changes as listed below:

  1. Colour of frosting on the outside of the cake.

  2. Addition of a cake message to be written only on the top of the cake.

  3. Pipping round the top and bottom edges of the cake.

A bespoke order – cakes which are not ordered directly off our website and require customer/baker communications to agree on the design.

  1. Cut off time for booking orders off our website next day orders is 12pm.

  2. We require, at least, 7 days’ notice for booking bespoke cake orders.

  3. All orders placed online will be decorated as listed on the website with minor changes which are colour of frosting and colour of cake message.

  4. Any other additional decorations will change the order to that of a bespoke cake which carries a higher charge.

 

Payment:

  1. Full payment is required in advance to confirm your order.

  2. All methods of payments will be those listed on our website.

  3. We accept all credit/debit cards listed on our site.

  4. If your card issuer, for any reason, delays releasing your funds for payment, we will not be held liable and have the right to delay or cancel an order.

Packaging:

  1. We do not offer carrier bags for cakes larger than 10” cakes

  2. All cakes are suitably packaged in boxes and bags (where possible) for easy handling.

 

Delivery:

  1. SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE ADHERED TO ALL TIMES!!!

  2. We deliver cakes to all London postcode areas Monday to Saturday between 10am and 5pm. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time as this depends on volume of deliveries on the day and traffic routes.

  3. We will not enter buildings but will notify customer when driver is at address to come down to collect their cake(s).

  4. Once the cake is collected by the customer at their delivery address, PaulinasCakes will not be held liable/responsible for any damages which might occur at the customer’s venue.

  5. If the customer is not at home at the agreed time the cake will be kept at our premises for 2 more days within which time the customer will need to make payment for another delivery.

  6. We do not offer refunds for cakes that we could not deliver due to the customer not being at the delivery address at the agreed time.

 

Refunds and cancelations:

  1. Any changes to an order have to be made minimum 72 hours before delivery date. 

  2. Refunds: We do not offer refunds for any reasons. If you have to cancel your order, we will offer a credit note for the amount paid less the transaction fees if the cake was paid for online or over the phone. This credit will be held for 6 months from date order was placed.

 

Bespoke cakes made copying pictures:

  1. All our bakers and cake decorators are highly experienced and therefore will always devote 100% of their skill into making your cake as close to the design as the picture you give us to copy.

  2. It is understood by yourself (the customer) that although you provide us with a picture of the way you want your cake designed it is humanly impossible to copy a design to 100% specification as we were not the ones who designed and created the initial cake in the picture you provide us with.

  3. All design specifications and alterations (if picture is provided) will be discussed with the customer. It will be assumed that upon making full payment for the cake, the customer is 100% satisfied with the design agreed on.

  4. It is natural that everyone’s perception of colour is different so while you (customer) specify a colour to use on your cake it is natural we  may not get it to the exact tone you would have liked and cannot be held liable for such.

  5. If at delivery you (the customer) are not satisfied with the bespoke cake made using the picture you provided for the design, we will not be held liable and will not issue any refunds.

 

Copy right:

  1. PaulinasCakes has complete rights over all photographic material of cake made by PaulinasCakes.

  2. PaulinasCakes has complete rights to use such photographic material on all social platforms for marketing purposes.
